Publications
Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia does its best to secure publications related to our organization's mission, and we publish our own as well. We make every attempt to make these publications available to our clients.
One of our publications that we recommend for any woman facing legal issues is the Handbook of Women In Conflict With the Law. This 68 page booklet shows what can be expected when dealing with the police, the court system, and the prison system. The booklet contains 5 sections following the legal process from contact with the police through to life following release from prison. A final Appendix offers a contact list of experts to use.
