Making Donations

Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia like most not-for-profit organizations relies heavily on raising money from the public and corporations. In an ideal world we would have a guaranteed, yearly, source of funding so that we could focus all our attention on our main mission, however, in reality we have to give up valuable hours to invest in fund raising efforts. Needless to say the least time consuming fund raising methods are those that involved educating the public and corporations about our mission so they see the benefits in giving a donation, thus allowing us to spend less time on fund raising and more on what we are here to do.
We have several established methods in place to make the donation process easy on the donor, and several less conventional methods too. What follows is a description of ways to donate to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia.
NOTE: All monetary donations are accompanied by the sending of receipt for tax purposes unless the donor requests otherwise. Additionally those donating a service that would otherwise have a professional fee attached can request a tax receipt in the amount the services would have been if not donated.
